Rear Vehicle Crash Repairs

April 28, 2010 Leave a comment

Online parts requests show that damage to the rear of a car is alot less common than damage to the front. If someone has gone into the rear of your car, chances are, it was their fault and they’ll have to pay for repairs anyway. That said, there are still hundreds of requests a day looking for parts such as rear bumpers, rear lights, boot lids, etc. Most people will buy secondhand or reconditioned vehicle spares and either fix them themselves, or get a garage to fit them for them. The reason for this being that it works out much cheaper than turning to insurance companies and facing increased premiums. Whether you have a sports car, a 4×4, a family saloon or a little hatchback, we can all become very proud of our cars and want them looking as good as possible which means getting them repaired asap.

Turbocharger Car Parts

April 9, 2010 Leave a comment

Hello, welcome to my blog about car turbochargers. As an introduction, here is a little bit about them and how they work.

When people refer to high performance cars like sports cars or race cars, the term turbochargers usually crops up. A car turbocharger increases the density of air entering the engine to create more power. The advantage of compressing the air is that it lets the engine squeeze more air into a cylinder, and more air means that more fuel can be added therefore higher speed can be achieved, so you can see why they are more popular with the sports cars such as an Aston Martin Vantage. Turbocharger kits are available for petrol and diesel cars.
